I am pleased to report that the Route 9/16 bridge project is finally complete. The roads are paved and lined, the lanes are open for traffic and the signs and light signals are up and working.
Hopefully, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has learned from this project and future projects will be done in a more timely and more efficient manner.

The Highland Street Foundation, an organization that fund's organizations that help children and families in Massachusetts who face challenges in the areas of education, housing, mentoring, health care, environment and the arts, is celebrating its 20th anniversary by kicking off its Free Fun Fridays 2010.
